Kelbly trigger question

I just had a kelbly br trigger added to my Barnard S f/tr rifle. When I first took delivery, the trigger appeared to function fine. I put it in the safe and it sat for a month. Yesterday, I took it out and noticed the sear wasn't engaging, so the bolt wouldn't cock. I backed the sear engagement screw out to what I think is a good amount of engagement, and it now functions fine. I see that Kelbly recommends 0.008-0.010" of sear engagement. How would one ever measure that? Second, The sear engagement screw seems to turn quite easily. Should I apply some light thread locker to it? The instructions say all screws have nylock, but I have no idea what that is!

Nylock is just a nylon insert used to prevent any chance of turning.
Not really a lock washer but close..
Not a good idea to use lock tight on them...
Probably wouldn't stick anyways..

tha's sort of what I understood as well, but the screw turns easier than I would have expected.

Clear finger nail polish, just a small dot from a toothpick will hold it in place yet not be difficult to remove in the future.
