I disassembled the trigger to clean it. Also swapped out my second stage spring to make it lighter. Everything appears the same as before when assembling.
I noticed when setting sear engagement the firing pin does not fall when tightening the seat screw. But when tightened down the bolt slams shut and trigger doesn’t function. Back out sear screw and trigger functions again.
The second issue is no matter how I adjust the sear screw, once I hit the wall, there is no clean break. The trigger moves a little before second stage releases. It is my understanding this means too much sear engagement, but if I tighten sear screw to decrease engagement, trigger doesn’t function.
im sure I’m overlooking something simple.
Any thoughts?
