Kelbly trigger in pierce action

Hi guys

Im having some trouble with my kelbly competition trigger. Ive fitted it to my pierce action and I cant get it to work consistently. Every time I lift the handle, slide the bolt back and forward then go to close it again, it HALF skips ie I have to still pull the trigger to get it to release fully before I can go to cock it again. I took it to my gunsmith this afternoon and with a little adjustment he could get it to sometimes work before they closed up shop. One thing I do notice is the bolt shroud lifts up when trying to cock the bolt using this trigger, but putting the previous trigger a rifle basix back on it there is no problem at all. I can get it to work consistently if I push down on the bolt shroud each time I cock the bolt.

Any suggestions as to what I need to do?

So what I am reading is that of the two triggers you have tried, neither works correctly with this action? I would be directing the query to Pierce.

Ive sent an email to kelblys. Sadly Im in Australia and the times for calling dont always work out. Hopefully I hear back soon.

The basix trigger works fine, Im going to look at adjusting a little more sear engagement.
