Keep My Wife Marilyn In Your Thoughts And Prayers

Really sorry to hear this news Jackie. Best wishes for Marilyn’s comfort now followed by full recovery after her next surgery.

The Administrator took the thread down, I guess because I posted a picture of the XRay.
Maybe, that’s why I never saw it. Yes the hoping things work out and the best wishes are important of course, but more so rest assured my prayers are with your wife and you.
I’ve gone through my share (VietNam for starters ) but prayers are far and away the most pertinent, and your wife and you have mine.

She was doing great, was in her 5th week of recovery, But early Tuesday morning she slipped, fell, and came down on the new left shoulder.!!

It destroyed everything. The titanium ball on the bone broke off, and it fractured the upper shoulder blade.
Prayers for a speedy recovery. She has a great husband to see her thru this set back. My thoughts are with both of you even though I have never meet you, your post always reflect a man of excellent character and focus.

My best to you both and hope she can keep a positive attitude through it all. It's a big help. I'm on my second shoulder repair coming up so know how the loss of use of an arm and immobilization can be tough on the phyche. No reply needed but I hope you have thought of in house nursing help from time to time.

I wish your wife a speedy recover, Jackie. I feel like I know ya. Been talking to you for years on this site and benchrest site. Sorry to hear that. Good Lord be with you all. Doug

Very distressing news and sounds like a painful setback, but I think you are both tough enough to weather this storm and come out the other side stronger and closer than ever. Very best wishes and prayers.

Really sorry to hear this. I'm sending prayers for her and you. I've had 4 shoulder surgeries. (Labrum tears.) The last one I could barely move my arm without it dislocating. Might sound morbid, but I'm glad I felt that immense pain, because after surgery and a couple months of physical therapy, I was pretty much pain free. I was so happy, I was brought to tears. I'm sure your wife will feel the same soon. Good luck with everything these next few weeks!
