looking to see how any of you fine folks that have tried the km priming tool felt like it is/was a good or bad tool. looking for opinions and say why you liked or disliked it if you don't mind. thanks in advance. bryant

I have two, one for LP's and one for SP's.....I really like them. They are well made, robust, have a great tactile feel and good leverage even for tighter tolerance pockets/primers.

I dont like the lever or the thing that pops up around the primer. Im always having to shake it around. Its a real good tool but for a similar price there is way better. The thumb lever will rust too where your thumb rides. It should be stainless

By way better you mean 21st century?

i have couple K&M's and no problems or rust on lever. I also have Sinclair.

I have the Sinclair, will probably wind up with the 21st Century. The Sinclair has an un-necessarily complicated shim system for changes. I like the feel of it, the close fit between the seating pin and the guide it runs through (seats the primers very straight).

For concentricity I started with the Hornady tool, got the Sinclair tool, and finally got the 21'st Century tool. No comparison. Buy once, cry once.

I like mine, but it's got the dial indicator. Once a year, I disassemble it, clean and lightly grease the friction areas, works flawlessly for my use. I don't see how it could be inferior to any other seater.

Love mine. It is much smoother than my rcbs. Wish it had a tray.

Get a 21st Century. Best priming tool on the market, bar none.

To me about the same speed. I am comparing a Sinclair with a Lee Ergo. For the tray feed I have to load a new sleeve of primers, orient them all in the correct position, and clear occasional jams. With the Sinclair I just prime.

Which one are you going to get? They make two models.

Let’s have a race. Put 10 pc of ready to prime brass on your bench. Prime the 10 pc of brass using your favorite priming tool using your normal priming procedure. You only get 1 try......how long did it take?

I know i can prime ppc cases between relays with my sinclair priming tool faster than i can prime other cases with an original lee round tray tool. All you need is a large primer flip tray and muscle memory. If you dont do it often or load a bunch of cases im sure its slower. Like a good powder dispenser it takes a lot of practice
