k & m priming tool

I like both of mine so well I've bought or recommended them for a dozen other folks. Biggest problem I have with the system is the shell holders occasionally need some polishing or filing to the center hole to allow the case pusher to move through it easily. Not a problem with the tool, it's a Lee shell holder problem. I've owned four or five others, always come back to the K&M.

HTH,
DocB

I have two K&M and one Sinclair. I think I like my K&M better. but I have a 21st Century coming sooooo. May retire the Sinclair.

Let’s have a race. Put 10 pc of ready to prime brass on your bench. Prime the 10 pc of brass using your favorite priming tool using your normal priming procedure. You only get 1 try......how long did it take?
Ben

K&M, 44.9s for 10 cases 6.5 x55BJAI. Probably shave a sec or two once I get on a roll priming 80+ cases in a sitting....doubt I would get much quicker than that. I think, considering clearing the occasional jams I would get with the RCBS hand with tray primer, it is just as fast as a tray fed primer. But, I have not used one in a long time and never timed myself. YMMV

You are the official winner & you killed me using my Sinclair primer tool. You probably scared all the others from posting

3min 9seconds to do 60 cases with Lee (square tray) auto hand primer...I was going as fast as I physically could o_O

ok, I got the 21st century single load. this tool is the BOMB!!!!!!!!!! the 2 things I was worried about, single loading and the sensitivity of the tool, were completely unnecessary. it is a tiny bit slower but not much. sensitivity is off the chart. on top of all that, the tool is a JOY to use. just reeks of quality and feels great working with it. as some others have said, if this tool is in your price range, GET IT!!!!. no regrets at all and ill enjoy this tool for the rest of my reloading life. good day all:). bryant

I'll be the fly in the ointment. I recently purchased the Bald Eagle priming tool and couldn't be happier. It's a single feed but, I was surprised at how fast a guy can get going. Once it's set it's quick. One thing I really like about it is, when chosen seating depth is obtained the handle "breaks" over and won't go anymore. The best way to explain the break is like when a torque wrench reaches it's set poundage.

Love my K&M primer tool. Great feel as the primer is inserted. I can tell when a primer pocket was not cleaned out before priming and when a primer is properly seated.
