japan made tasco target scopes, any good?

I bought TG624x44DS few years back its a target dot scope, the only problem with it get blur when zoomed pass 15X, bu it was made in China... Do they really make them in Japan? Even Nikon moved their facilities to Philippines, and last I heard Tasco got bough out by Bushnell, I might be wrong on whole thing....

these are the older models when they were made in japan. dont think anything they make now would compare .

This series was made in the late 80's to early 90's. They are stamped in the eyepiece where they were made. I have one left and it is a really decent scope for the money. They were made by lightwork out of japan.

While I don't have a Tasco target scope, do own a made in Japan Tasco 3-9 that I bought back in late 80s from a Sears clearance store. Sharp, clear glass in it. Always did wish it was a higher power scope. Only problem I ever had with the scope was the power ring screw fell out of it without me knowing it. LOL, I replaced the lost screw with one that held a ceiling fan light globe in place. It was same diameter and threads were right.
