My wife, son, and I put 3 bucks down using the new 30 cal 220gr LR Hybrid Berger @ 3175 fps in my 300 Norma Mag Improved. Shot distances were 370 yards, 650 yards, and 840 yards. The 220gr performed flawlessly at all ranges. Definitely one of my new favorite hunting bullets. Excellent penetration and expansion with very little meat damage. 220gr performed much better than the 215gr hybrid I used to shoot at nearly the same velocity.

Had an awesome day calling dogs on Saturday. Made it a family affair, the wife and I took my bro in law, his boy and best friend who had never been hunting before. To say that both those kids are hooked on predator calling would be an understatement. We called in five dogs and managed to put four in the dirt by noon. The wife and I got to break in our new coyote rifles with suppressors on this trip, the Howa mini 6.5 Grendel and her Savage Lady Hunter in 6 Creedmoor.

Let the air out of this one in southeastern PA, 4:06 p.m today. Had the foo foo juice out on a couple shoe polish swabs and he came right in to it. Double lunger, he walked over 100 yards before dropping, there wasn't a drop of blood until the last ten yards before he expired. 190 field dressed. Gut was stuffed with corn. Donated him to the hunter harvest program. Does are next, freezer bound.
