It's that time of year. Let's see those kills.

My wife, son, and I put 3 bucks down using the new 30 cal 220gr LR Hybrid Berger @ 3175 fps in my 300 Norma Mag Improved. Shot distances were 370 yards, 650 yards, and 840 yards. The 220gr performed flawlessly at all ranges. Definitely one of my new favorite hunting bullets. Excellent penetration and expansion with very little meat damage. 220gr performed much better than the 215gr hybrid I used to shoot at nearly the same velocity.

My son came up for Thanksgiving and to pick up his birthday present, a 6.5 CM built by ScoreHigh.

On his way home, he stopped by his cousin's small property hoping to find some feral hogs. No hogs showed up, but he lucked into a 12 pt buck. One and done.6244.jpeg

An Ohio buck I shot on Tuesday with my new 350 Legend build on a Remington 700 action.

First deer I’ve shot in over 8 years, south central Arkansas deer, 9 point, he slipped out of the woods and walked straight away from me never lifted his head and at about 90 yards he finally looked up and when I saw horns I started shaking like it was my first deer.. After about 4 good breaths of air I was finally able to hold the retical still enough to shoot him in the neck. And that’s when the show started! He did a back flip and was now facing me, never moved again! DRT! 300 win mag, 200 accubond.

I was out clearing some cedars today and dropped this big ole boy. One shot with a mild 77TMK @ 2500 rolled him off a bluff, and 4 more to anchor him. Probably ~230-250 if I had to guess. I don't kill many things, so I'm not good at guestimating weight. He was hard to move, and I'm 6'4" 220lbs.
