Got this IL buck yesterday morning around 08:45.
Horns are really starting to work well in this part of the country now. Rattled him in to 26 yds.
We have a little history with him and believe he was a 6.5 year old this season.

Shot this 1 1/2 yr old (yearling) with the Ravin last evening, too late for field pics. I just finished cutting her up. IMHO yearling does are the best eating venison. Butterflied tenderloins, eggs and hashbrowns for breakfast.

Took this doe in early doe season with my .460, using a Hornady 200gr FTX. At 30 yards, there was no exit. Might have to try the monoflex……
