There's, a LOT of TRUTH,.. in this statement ^^^^ !!!I've heard the leading cause of injury in older people is thinking they are younger.......![]()
I hate that for you! On the sciatica nerve, I had the pins put in, would not do it again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Why? I can't feel any difference, the doctor said he had done about 800 of these. Knees? I had both replaced last year, left was a partial and the right a full replacement. These have helped a lot, still have pain but I kind of expected it. 71 years old and striving to be the 6 million dollar man! Hips and shoulders are next! Going for another injection on the right Monday. As the saying goes "getting old ain't for wussies!Six years ago I could out walk everyone I knew, now I can't outwalk anyone.
I went to the Orthopedic since I posted the last time, went for my knees, and he told me I wasn't a good candidate for replacement because of lumbar issues. Neuro. and spine ortho say no more back surgeries, talk about rock and a hard place.
I'm probably going to try a chiropractor for the knees, and am still up in the air for what to do about sciatic nerve.
I haven't even thought about the numbness in my hands yet.
I have one of those and it does indeed help but I don't wear it much because it seems I'm always having to adjust it.This heavy duty knee brace has helped me a lot. It may be worth a try. It's less uncomfortable when worn over an undersleeve.
My dad and 2 of my uncles nearly died in a Whippet pickup when they were young kids, the family was going to visit some relatives but there was no room in the cab so the three boys rode in the back, grandpa had covered the bed with a tarp because it was raining and the boys were overcome by exhaust fumes. Dad always wanted a Whippet but never had the extra money to spend on one.1923 ford T 350 lt-1 , 1930 ford tudor, 1931 ford tudor ,1931 ford pickup mercury v-8 flathead ,1930 whippet pickup ratrod , 1941 ford tudor 350 , 1941 tudor all original, 1946 ford tudor original, 1948 ford Anglia Texas wheelstander , 1948 ford anglia pro street , 1953 studebaker pickup 500 cu in caddy , and forgot my wifes , 1932 ford cabriolet 350 , and 1941 chrysler windsor 3 window business coupe , 350 . other than are governments..... SAVE AMERICA FIRST I like it should be everyone's motoI guess one of the most important things I can say is very simple and 100% up to you, ... you are the only one who can decide if you are going to win here or if you are going to lose, ... not a doctor not anyone but you are in control of how you will live the rest of your life.
I get it about as tight as I can when I put it on and it does pretty good.I have one of those and it does indeed help but I don't wear it much because it seems I'm always having to adjust it.
