I was told the bolt came from Gretan. I don't see any brazing. I thought it was a one piece. I could be wrong. Seems to be a nice bolt. It cleaned up beautifully.

I soaked the action in acetone to remove all the paint. Then powered off what was left in my ultrasonic tank.

Turns out it was a very nice blued action under there.

At one time, I recall PTG supplying bare bolt bodies to Greg when he still did action work.

You can still buy the bare bolt bodies cut for standard M16 or Mini M16 extractors from PTG.
