Does PTG have brazed on bolt handles?

I think you're rightI don't believe it Dan's work...no TIG.
And iirc, they soldered them, not tig. So it makes sense that its a ptg bolt, holland handle, done by gretan, like urban said. I prefer tig but both can work. You just hardly ever hear of a tigged handle coming off like soldered. At one time, I recall PTG supplying bare bolt bodies to Greg when he still did action work.
You can still buy the bare bolt bodies cut for standard M16 or Mini M16 extractors from PTG.

I've had a few myself. Might still have one on an xp100 br rifle, iirc.I think you're right. The handle is almost certainly a Holland and yeah, after looking closer, it appears to be soldered on. So what urban said his customer told him..that it was a ptg bolt worked by gretan, sure looks very likely to me. Good catch.Bingo!
I had the same Gre-Tan bolt with Holland bolt handle in this sleeved 700 30BR.

Best to install in a plastic bag. That pin likes to go into orbit.
Not Dan's work. He won't work on a bolt with a Sako extractor. He was kind of a jerk about it when I asked.
I do have an xp with a ptg bolt and sako extractor that dan put a handle on for me. Just drug it outta the safe. Now Walt! Dan was never like that was he!
I've known and used Dan for many years. No, He did not pussyfoot around. He is enjoying 99.5% retirement.I do have an xp with a ptg bolt and sako extractor that dan put a handle o for me. Just drug it outta the safe.
Good to know. I've sent him several. He's a good guy but we'd get to talking and it could go on for a bit.I've known and used Dan for many years. No, He did not pussyfoot around. He is enjoying 99.5% retirement.
