Any 6MM will do the job, shot placement, ACCURACY, a tougher bullett and a decent velocity. I did coyotes at 400-600 yards with old Hornady 90 grain FMJ projectiles at those ranges under 3,000 FPS.I won a coyote contest which awards me a custom rifle. I’ve been looking at 6 Creed and 6 ARC but I have no experience with 6mm. How many of you guys hunt coyotes with a 6mm? Currently, I’m a factory ammo shooter, but I’m going to be getting into hand loading this year as well.
I will never shoot more than 300 yards in my area
I’m trying to tow the line of dropping them like a sack of yams and keeping nice pelts.
Today an all copper/monolithic hunting bullet might suffice as the body structure of the coyote shouldn't force expansion at 20" barreled 6MM ARC velocities.
