Ingenuity sightings?

We are getting much closer but still a couple months out for shipping first units most likely. As far as lack of information, had any one of you sent me an email you would have had an answer almost immediately. Do not search information on a forum that is not a part of my company. My customer service is impeccable if you actually reach out to me directly. Be prepared to answer the phone if you send an email at 9pm lol
Really guys, I know everyone is chomping at the bit and we are working our asses off to get it there. This has been a large endeavor going from a product that was almost entirely made in house to this which has multiple pieces made from around the globe. It has taken wayyy longer than I ever anticipated when we started but I promise the target is within range now and things are coming along. This is not my first rodeo in manufacturing, just first to deal with so many components from abroad. Again, this is why I did not take any ones money for the preorders. Please be patient a little longer. Paul
It’s literally a year to the day and we are still waiting

I am anxious as well. I was later than many to place a pre-order., Roughly a year ago. Reached out this week & inquired. Response was the early orders are more recently projected to be going out in late September. This places my order going out later than that.

Suppose I expect I will be fortunate to see my order by Christmass. So yes I am anxious yet patient, Next spring works also.

Placed my preorder 12/20/23. Of course still waiting. Promises, promises.

I’m new to the discussion. Any idea if/when this is gonna happen? Were soon to go in to the 4th calendar year here (23,24,25…26?).

Has anyone taken delivery of an IP system?

Get the IP trickler, Autotrickler V4, IP controller, IP powder cup, and Fx120i. Maybe the custom riser from JustDreaming here on AS. Works great about 8-9 sec per throw and +\- 0.01 grains IF you’re willing to pour out a kernel every 15 throws or so. Throwing is the easy part (V4), the IP trickler and controller will get you there just fine.

If you’re going to do that, you’re better off with the 3d printed v3 thrower knock off for $100 instead of the overpriced v4 and use the riser from IP. He’s waiting on more small parts from anodizing to be able to sell more tricklers. No word if he has complete throwers ready.

He told me end of Dec for my order number. Is that another miss in a long line of misses? Don’t know yet.

IMHO you're better off with a different system altogether, given IP was taking preorders three years ago and has blown through every deadline with poor or no communications. Then an enterprising person works up a printed thrower, which has already been modded to manage powder leakage/spilling, and people are talking about which cables etc. to cobble together something that works. I settled on the PP Trickler. It does not, as yet, handle ball powders, but I can live with that.

Having received a reply to my email query from Paul within a couple of days really supports his statement about “If you have a question, send me an email”…
I too would rather have a system with all the “bugs” worked out than something less than what I expected and paid for…
Having been in manufacturing and wholesale I can certainly understand the problems with getting multiple parts of manufacturing to a finish product, especially when dealing with off shore production of some items.
Being patient is a skill that has faded away in our society used to instant gratification…
Here is the reply to my email:

“Currently most likely after the first of the year for the complete system with your order number date. I plan on starting to ship later next month so it's just guessing how long it will take us to get to your order number of about 650”

Anyone tried the auto throw T3 from prstf.com? Looks like a 3d printed V3 copy. Should work okay for initial throw, add AutoTrickler V3 electronics and the IP trickler should be set to go on an A&D scale.

I ordered about a year ago, last summer he sent me a trickler to use with my old RCBS manual thrower, but nothing else. At that time he said to expect the rest of my order around end of Oct. I emailed a couple of months ago & was told it would be Nov. or Dec for the rest of the thrower. Still no joy. I'm wondering if he's still in business or if I should look for a competitor's thrower to use with his trickler.

Works just fine!
The thing of it is that the T3 thrower needs to be manually adjusted to change the charge weight. Unlike the Autotrickler, Supertrickler, PP Trickler, and the promised-three-years-ago Ingenuity Powder System.

A nothing burger for cranking out a known load, but a blocker for load development.

That's just for the initial throw. The trickler takes care of the rest.
