Word is the Powder Droppers are at anodize and will ship before the end of the month. 400 going out in the first batch.

The following is what is currently on the Ingenuity Power Dropper order page:

This is a no obligation, no money down preorder. You will get an order number and when they are ready to ship your payment request notification email will go out in the order they were received. The first batch of orders that started 12-19-23 to roughly 4-1-24 are scheduled to start shipping by the end of 2-2026 or sooner. For those just waiting for throwers, they will also go out then as well. With our current back log it is going to take some time to get caught up on all the preorders. If you didn’t preorder until 2025 it could take 3-6 months to get caught up to those dates. If you are placing a new preorder today, be prepared for probably 5-7 month wait time.(This is a current estimate and subject to change)

27077 and haven't received an email yet either. I'm thinking IP is going through the orders as fast as they can. Probably complicated by the fact they sold a bunch of partial kits without the dropper and have to go to each person and get their preference on whether they still want the full system or just the dropper or something in between.

I am going to let others test drive them and work the bugs out.

Like we say in Aviation, never fly the A-Model.

Until products like this are in mass adoption, there are unknown gremlins. Use-cases that the testers and developers did not think of or thought would never come up. And then there are production issues that don't show up, again, until mass adoption.
Shooting products like this are cottage-industry even with the best OEMs.
This product is fairly complex between hardware and software/firmware, so @Hoser 's position is reasonable

I get what you're saying, since I have the whole system on order including the Sartorius scale I've been paying close attention to IP threads, I know there are beta testers on this forum and there are quite few members that have everything IP offers minus the dropper and I haven't heard of any issues.....yet.

I'm currently using the whole IP system minus the powder dropper (IP electronics as well). I've been using this setup since January 2025. The only issue I've experienced is when I forgot to change a trickler disk when I changed powder - even then it still mostly worked. I expect the powder dropper to be as problem free as the rest of the system has been for me over the last year.

In My email with him last week he was waiting on the anodizing company.
He's been at 3rd party mercy since the beginning.
All he can do is wait himself. I'll bet it's been one heck of a headache for 3 years.

Those "gremlins" are usually due to user incompatibility (speaking from experience).
I have actually broken a steel ball.

Realize that there have been a lot of orders for cups, other parts that have already been fulfilled, so not actually 5200+ full systems between you and what's shipping.
