Ingenuity Precision New Trickler

I'm on the waiting list, couldn't wait anymore, I needed to upgrade my old RCBS1500. So I just got a Supertrickler and like it a lot. The latest software update is working well and even using h4350, I'm only getting an occasional overthrow. Will take the ingenuity when my place on the waiting list finally arrives.

I just bought a v4 could not weigh anymore 2yr I may get old when they are available I like my v4 like all if these type units there is a learning curve

It may have been a better approach to have concentrated on promoting the trickler to work with existing bulk dropper
I wish I had kept my Adam v3 instead of buying a v4
The IP trickler certainly looks like the best trickler out there

Arm chair quarterback here. I am on the wait list.

I think I still have my old v1 or v2 with the Lee hopper.
I wonder if it can be made to work with the IP ?

Yes the the IP will work with the V2 Lee thrower, no different than the V3. The IP trickler will also work with the V4, IP makes a cable for I think $5.00 that makes it easier to hook up the IP Trickler to the V4.

Tim,
You will need the cable, the trickler with the long drop tube, the drive mechanism as seen here and the stand. You can use the stepper motor that drives the small V4 trickler motor. You will need to block the small V4 trickler tube in the back so no powder can enter the small tube. I pulled a bullet from a 22 rimfire cartridge and pushed it gently into the back of the tube. Yes there are more elegant ways to do this. Again, plug the tube in the back so no powder can enter the tube.
PM inbound.

Did you add that horizontal pin to hold the extra powder disks or is that now a feature from IP? My IP trickler stand did not have that feature.
BTW: I still like the side stand that works just fine with the original motor from my V1 AutoTrickler that has all the Area 419 bits that they made to get rid of the plastic printed bits that came with the original setup. Definitely, you want the clear plexiglass top that A419 makes to get rid of the original flimsy top that came with the draft shield on the A&D i120 scale. I did watch the “New” IP trickler mount video and noticed that Paul said that at least the platen coming with his new setup {WHEN EVER} that finally gets shipped will have a machined piece rather than the printed bit that was used in the video…
Area 419 may eventually make once again some machined upgrade pieces for the new setup if it ships with too much printed stuff… Their quality parts are superior to any printed stuff…!
