Imperial Sizing Wax

This seems to wipe off the outside of cases fairly well... but how does one clean this off the inside of the neck after FL sizing?

I use a Q-tip with some brake cleaning solvent on it IF I use Imperial Sizing Wax. Most of the time I use the Imperial dry case neck lube and then I don't do anything to clean the inside of the casing neck.

thanks. I used a Q-tip w/ brake cleaner on one end and used the other to dry. They don't last too long before they fall apart.. but it appears to have worked fine.

Hello,

When I have a lot of cases that I have lubed & sized with Imperial, I will partially fill a 1lb. coffee can with acetone. I will swirl them around and the acetone will remove the lube completely. I will remove the brass and it will be lube free and ready for the remaining loading operations.

Cordially,
Bob Blaine

I have a stainless brush mounted in a slot on my RCBS tool that has my primer pocket cleaner, chamfer, and deburring tool on it. the brush is 1 size larger than the caliber and is rotating. It cleans the neck with just a push on an pull off.

I think Bob might be right. I don't get it in the necks unless I am full prepping and using it for an inside neck lube for the expandiron or for creating a false shoulder. I usually use graphite for inside neck work though these days as it even goes farther than wax and clean up is taken care of nicely by tumbling.

I use a method similar to Bobs243ackley. I wash the cases in Coleman lantern fuel. There is no smell nor residue from the Lantern Fuel.
