Imperial sizing die wax/D.C.L. application questions

Imperial, with just a dap on your fingers and lightly rub some on the upper body of the case, one a time is my procedure. works just fine.
That’s what I do. I use my right index fingertip and thumb to lube and work the handle on my press. I use my left hand to handle the cases by the neck only for applying the lube and in/out of the press. That way the lube doesn’t migrate around.

Then I wipe down the case bodies, again holding by the neck and using a paper towel or microfiber cloth.

Imperial sizing wax is the best lube I ever used and is very economical but, in my experience, it does not lend itself to high volume lubing in one sitting. When I say best, I mean it promotes uniform sizing and prevents a stuck case if applied properly.

However, for your purposes, if you can handle the costs, One Shot spray is very efficient to lube a large volume of cases at one time. While I don't use it anymore, the best way I found to use it to help avoid a stuck case is to place the cases in a lube rack and spray them 360 degrees around the circumference of the cases. The good news with this lube is I never had a deformed case, the bad news is, this lube can increase the risk of a stuck case and can result in lack of uniformity in sizing, at least in my experience.
