I'm not lawyer....but if I'm reading this right...good weekend in CA...

Spawned by thier last governor.

And Newsom, who replaced Moonbeam is even worse. Commie California will just get worse and more stupid, yet do nothing to control criminals.
And I see neighbors states starting to follow it's lead. Sad, sad.

Oh its flowed over the border, trust me.
My neighbor went to Salem on Tuesday I believe and this is what he learned and conveyed to me.
We will not get to vote on this but what they are talking about making law.
Your firearms are to be locked up separate from ammunition.
If your house is burglarized and firearms are stolen you have x amount of time to report.
If your firearms are used in a crime you are held responsible. WTF!!!
How does this work.
Almost forgot.
So your at home and a intruder enters your home you are to RETREAT to the back of the house and not confront the intruder unless he enters the room you retreated to.
Who thinks up this s×!+ ?

I'm not sure the magazines bought over the past few days have a very long half life. CA has not been big on grandfathering in the past--the law in question had no grandfather clause--all magazines had to get sold, destroyed, or blocked. So the 5pm deadline Friday was likely just to protect sellers, give them a chance to see the stay, and quit selling them. The buyers will probably be ordered to get rid of them again, unless the appeals court, or the supreme court, comes up with a win for 2A.

I have plenty of storage, too. Write your return address in big print, please! No “Doctor’s scrawl” I can’t read. I’ll stack the boxes in my attic until you poor souls find a new home.;)
Don’t worry about me using them. I have a few 30 rounders but I haven’t used bigger than a five for a long time.

I can't find information I believe. Maybe @Forum Boss can chime in, I think he is an attorney in CA. but it isn't clear to me if the magazines that were bought during that week are legal to use. I think they are legal to own but don't know if it's a good idea to use them or not. -Jerry

Who thinks this "stuff" up, you ask? The same people who believe in incarceration for profit and civil forfeiture to support the thoroughly corrupt Oregon Pension system.
https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/14/business/pension-finance-oregon.html

Oregon is by no means unusual in its level of corruption, it's permeated every state in the Union. Here in TX, you can get a second full pension by working in another county for 6 years after putting 20 in your first county. I talked to two county workers who were doing just that. It's no wonder my property taxes keep going up and now cost me $600 per month. A civil service worker can retire at age 50 with two pensions, four if their spouse is also gaming the system.

And NYC just decreed that LEO can't arrest for "minor offenses" in schools. Instead they get sent to "reeducation" induced by Bloombergs wife's program.
Sounds like Broward County.

Where do these people get these hairbrained ideas? Bad ideas have bad consequences...and victims.

Remember when the teacher would flat out
Whip your ass!

My uncle was the truancy/behavioral administrator. I couldn’t get away with anything, lol. For graduation he gave me my high school record.

And then sent you to the Principal's office for some more. The best part was waiting for your father to get home to really blister the back side!
My history teacher in Iola Kansas would holler four when he tee'd off on you

I'd like to know also. If you can't use them I'd hate to find out the hard way.

Lots of people saying they are fine to use. I just don't know what an LEO would say if he saw you using it at the range, or worse yet, if he were investigating a self defense use of force in your home and you used a 30 rd magazine that you bought during the carnival week. I'll try to remember to ask an LEO next time I see one who isn't busy.

My dad was no pussy but when my parents wanted to put the absolute fear of God in me, my mom stepped out from behind dad. That's when I started filling my shorts with soft, stinky stuff. Mom was of Lebanese descent.
