Friends-shooters: There's a WAR going on in several parts of this Earth. Wars take LOTS of powder.Reluctantly, I have realized that the price of Powder, as well as everything else,!has been skyrocketing. Why though, does it seem that Alliant powders are so much more than everyone else’s? Is it greed for profit? I now find myself switching to Vitahvouri powders, which I would have never foreseen. They went from being the most expensive, to the cheapest! Lol. Honestly, in my 40 years of reloading, I have never used these powders, but I have always heard wonderful things about them, so I must say I am looking forward to using them and working up new loads. Oh well, I guess in life we must pivot from time to time. I guess it keeps things interesting? (Glass half full way of thinking).

Give up the hamburgerThere's a lot room for blame to go around for price increases across the board. For one, government infusion of 8 trillion dollars in the monetary system is probably the best reason for skyrocketing prices.
When my wife and I go out for beer and hamburger and I wind up with a 60 dollar bill, its across the board for everything. It's F*G insane. Rant over!
Oh yes and we worked for $1.25 an hour...Go back in my Time Machine.

Country is doing better than under the dictation of Mr Dump...
What do you all expect when the currency has been debased like Weimar Germany? Look around, it's happening with everything.
A real KILLING war?... as opposed to what?... just a regular war? 21 years ago today my friend was shot right in the face in Iraq, but I'm glad to know that it probably wasn't a real killing war. When I wrote to his dad, a SF Vietnam Vet, right after it happened, I didn't include, "hey, but don't feel that bad, this isn't a real KILLING war". But that's ok, I seem to remember people like my grandfather who fought the Japanese saying that about Vietnam, as if it wasn't a real war. I'm not sure I would ever say something that stupid because I have respect for anyone who fought for their country. But here's some advice old guy, don't say the recent past 2 wars were not Killing wars to a Gold Star family. Hopefully you won't tell gold star families that or the families of all the people that have killed themselves and are still killing themselves. Someone needs to get the message out to them that they weren't fighting a real killing war... that might help lessen the number of suicides. When I go to Arlington, Sandhills at Bragg and the Georgia Veteran's Cemetery and a few other's at their local churches, I'll be sure to bring this up next time.Weighed 135 pounds. No joe then. Had LBJ drowning us in a real KILLING war
