IF IT WAS YOUR MONEY

I did a search and there was a good thread, but it is 5 years old.

New NF 15-55 vs new March 10-60 x 52 (30mm main tube) Same price point.

Main concern.....holding POI

2ndary concerns....clarity and weight. I am running NF 12-42 BR's and NSX's now. Both of the above are much lighter weight than my current scopes.

Thanks,
Tod

Just sold my comps and bought a pair of March X HM 10-60's

I have a March 10-60x52, it is what convinced me to make the switch..... and great customer service.
With the March scopes I have, adjust and shoot. They are that solid...... did I get lucky? I don't know, but they are solid. My LR March scopes are not light, but every one of them will "see through the swamp" better than my comps ever did. You will have to ask Mr Turtle why that is. @Turbulent Turtle

I have or had several of each brand and both the scopes in question.......I sold the N.F. scopes and kept the March.......I had no issues with the NF's.....My eyes and confidence of no POI shift prefer the March.

Rick

Thanks for attracting my attention to this thread. Please note that the March 10-60X52, while a great scope with superb IQ, does not have the High Master Lens system. It has excellent ED glass but it is not the Super ED glass found in the March-X 10-60X56HM.

nice to see this thread, when my ship comes in (end of may) i am going to be replacing several scopes with march's and valdada's

I know you are looking at NF and March but my Kahles 1050’s have served me very well. Maybe something to consider.

Dave.
I would....but i am also trying to shed some weight. The Kahles weighs in about the same as the NF BR and NSX.

Just how good is the glass for 1000 yard Benchrest ?

If it was my money, and my rifles "could" make weight. I'd save the couple grand and buy a brick of primers.

Tom
...or IF you could find a brick of primers to buy!! LOL Actually , I am good with primers. Not a concern.

Well, if this is the Optics Planet add, as of last night they have one less scope to sell!! LOL

Actually, I got the "L" for $2,370.00.

I wanted to get the new 34mm tube, but BAT does not make direct fit rings for 34mm tubes. Like I said earlier.....I have a weight problem.

The March 10-60 HM has glass that is spectacular. Put one on my new LG this season. Shot it this past weekend in real crappy mirage at our 1st 1000yd match. I am an advocate of NF 12-42 BR scopes, but they are in different leagues. With ideal conditions they are very similar, but with mirage it’s game over. They are extremely bright and also pricey, but if you have the money to spend on a NF Comp, spend the extra $600 and be happy. If Joe sends me another 6K in the mail I will buy 2 more.

It's been a while, but if I remember correctly, March gives a discount to Veterans.......Just Sayin'

I'm in the same boat.Got out of local F-class do too time constraints and health issues. I want to get back in and trying to decide on scopes. Is the HM that much better than the 10x60x52?
