Second round of freezing rain this week, first was a bitch, and caught my wife not paying attention @ 6:58am letting the dog out,
That was Thursday morning, about 7pm she decided maybe she should go have her right foot looked at, when she couldn't put any weight on it. Luckily it was just a strain? But what amazed me was here back and but didn't really bother her? But Friday we went out to eat and today she's not hopping around like she was, God was looking out for her for sure!
But then Saturday round two,, this time we got about .1" of sleet to begin with, then freezing rain on top that, about .1" and not near as bad as round one with just .15" of freezing rain only, it was dangerous to walk on, but that's it no damage, you just had to take yer time and be careful. 4 years with no winter weather maybe she forgot?
But at least we have no rain, I'd welcome some snow, and then I could get in the woods and do some varmint hunting, but around here in this crusty crunchy crap calling would be all you could do, and then still at my age, in the woods on the unstable terrain, I wont risk surprises, so I hit the varmint rifles in the back room. My yard vermin getters, and do some practicing. on the wall 3 177's a couple Weihrauch 30's 50's and a very special Beeman R10 tuned by John Thomas on the bottom. Then a couple laminated 22's a 54D and HW77 S.E., along with a .177 HW77 all three super tuned and deadly out to 50 yards on yard vermin!

Soon I hope to be back out with the new 257 AI, plenty of time to find my varmint load for it before them beans come up, and till then, plenty of shootin to keep the rust off. Nice to have options, and in this crap, them springers are a great option!
