Me my daughter, a fox pro and two unlucky dogs

My daughter just turned ten right before Christmas. Yesterday was her last day before she goes back to school. She wanted to go hunting last night so we suited up and headed out. Set up by some big bales and started calling. She is not very good about being quiet or sitting still but she tries. She saw it first and says "there's something out there, right there" I said yep that's a coyote. It came in on a string and even stopped right before we were going to lose sight of her for a little bit so with a squeeze on the T3 that story ended. We went on tried again before it got too dark without any luck and then when we headed out, the second one showed himself and fell to the same demise. It was fun and she was so excited to have some stories to tell when she went back to school this morning. I am going to get her shooting some next summer, but for now she's happy just going with me.

Daddy & Daughter Time: Awesome Quality Time Spent!!! I have two daughters and we do similar outings. Its a great feeling figuring out your kid wants to spend time with you doing things you both have a passion for...

Congrats to you Sir!!

She went out with me and my hunting buddy the Saturday after this deal and we walked around 5 miles with her and set up multiple times and didn't see anything. She didn't think that was near as fun. But she still wants to go again sometime, so that's good. I just need to get HER shooting. Last summer she was telling me how she did it instead of listening and learning how to do it the right way. I'll get her going this summer though. Jason

great story and a hunt of a life time - you will hear about this from her for years - trust me. Had similar hunt with my son but it was doves and not dogs. Heard him talking with friends many years (and hunts) later still talking about his first hunt. He just left for basic - wish we had hunted more!
good luck
