This what it looked like here this time of year only a year ago....


Right now it's in the 40's with no substantial precip in sight.
The sage rats and rockchucks are gonna be confused and cut their 'winter' nap short this year.
Guess it's time to start reloading all those cases from last season, as it appears we'll be out early this year.....that's a good thing, right?

I dont ski but heard mt spokane just opened for skiing the past week i believe. Heard lots of resorts are really hurting from lack of snow. 52 here today in eastern wa

Yes, those are daffodils coming up here on the southern Oregon coast. It's springtime and 50°!!!

Heck I noticed the neighbor's up nearly that much here in LO. I had to look twice and the crocus aren't even due to start poking through until Feb, now I'm wondering if they will come early too.

Feels odd to hear tales of a warmer than normal winter. We've been solidly at or below normal for the last 6 weeks. Supposed to tweak upward a little this week.

What's normal?
Highs of 0°F, lows of -18°F.
