I have come to the conclusion that, ...

I have been studying this matter since the mid sixties and after all these years i must admit that there's no way out. It may start as something as simple as a rabbit in the garden or a squirrel robbing the bird feeder, so you get a little .22 and correct that problem.

Well then you have this good shooting .22 sitting there with most of a box of ammo so you might as well go use it up, ... and now your out of ammo and what good is that .22 without ammo? So you go down to the store and get more ammo and while your there you see another rifle or pistol that might be fun to shoot, so you get it and now you don't know it but your hooked.

If you are like some of us, (not me of course) the addiction, i mean hobby has complete control now and in a matter of time your safe is past full and the corners of every room in the house has firearms sitting or stacked in it.

The next stage is the, well that one in the back of the safe or maybe sitting in the corner has so much dust on it i can't see what it is so I'll sell that one and make some room here. And you do, but you also have to drive past the gun store on your way home, i mean after all it's only ten blocks out of the way to home and you might as well stop in since your down that way, right?

And low and behold they just happen to have the just out brand new Super duper peacemaker 3000 that you and the clerk were talking about last week, Wow! (you never even felt the hook go in did you?) You just know someones going to beat you to it if you don't buy it now so you buy it. I mean your just doing your part to keep the store open, right? ... Yes i have been studying this matter for a long time now.

You see i have once again been making room in the safe, so now please excuse me, i just sold some guns and i need to get the dust bunny's cleaned out of the safe because i have some new guns coming in next week and i just happen to have a little room in the safe for them.

By the way, ... i have come to the conclusion that there's no way out of this hobby so i might as well enjoy it while i can because in the future i'll be sitting on the street corner with a little tin cup saying, ... can you spare a .22 round? ... please just one.

Today I dropped off a rifle for shipment at a local gun shop/FFL. In the consignment rack was a Tikka M595 in .308 with a Leupold scope. It sure did look nice. An internet search showed it was a heck of a deal. I haven’t bought it yet...but it’s calling me. I’ll do my best to resist, but I don’t know if I can.

Buy it! Buy it and send it to me and I’ll cover your costs!!! Better yet, buy it and shoot it! If you don’t like it, then I’ll still buy it!

Edit: Just tell me what gun store and I’ll save you from yourself...;):D:D:D

The first step in curing a problem is admitting you have one. If you are married just don`t sign a confession,it will bite you.
