I GOTTA COME CLEAN !

I want to play.

223
308
300 WSM

That covers everything in my book. 2 Share projectiles and barrel blanks. 2 can share primer size. I'm a sucker for the basics.
I felt bad for the .223. So, I decided to get it some company.

Why? Why not?

I do love them all. Its like gears on a bicycle, lots of overlap from different combos. The rifles are like golf clubs, each one has a different purpose.

Except for the 224 Valkyrie. Its an half-evolved rodent of a cartridge that can't do anything well. And I do love the 6.8spc, I own 3 of them. But the Valkyrie is just a poor attempt at marketing a cartridge to sell a bolt face diameter in auto loaders.

If it goes bang I'm in.
That being said there are individual guns (not makes) that drive me NUTS.

I don't care what I shoot, but, my first love is the .308, second is the .223\5.56, then the .338LM.

I now have a Tikka T3X Tac A1 in 6.5 Creedmore that I really like, got that in mid 2025.

It is funny how fast a change of direction can be! I was all in. Bought brass and dies and powder and made a plan! Then I fired it. OUCH!!!!!!! When did I get old?!?!?!
Those slip-on recoil pads make a world of difference.

Probably a day late and a dollar short in your circumstance.

I don't enjoy recoil, either.

If you can place a shot well, the collateral damage isn't as necessary.
