Hunting 243 advice

Right on! Yeah I wanted to know too because I wanted some options when it came hunting bullets. I am a die hard nosler ballistic fan, but I know they only go to 90 or 95 grains. I wanted to know that if I did find that larger size bullet, it will stabilize it.

I have used the 95g nbts on a lot of deer and they work great!!

I really like the 85 SGK,,, Lots of speed, basically same poa,out to 300,the deer body just jiggle when you hit them, then the blood just pours out of that hole, never had a whitetail here in WI go more than 30yds.

I didn't read what others opinions are but...

Get yourself a 8 twist 24"-26" bbl and shoot 105gr Berg. VLD Hunt. for everything.

You will not regret it.

I love my 243win's.

There ain't nothin wrong with a 243 I've never shot a deer with one but my daughter has. When she was 10 she got her first deer, 213 yards 85 gameking. At age 13 a 12 pointer fell dead right there with a 100 grain interlock. No need for a earsplittinloudenboomer to drop a deer it's the Indian not the arrow anyway.

80 grain Barnes TTSX over 44.5 grains of IMR 4350 has really done a number on deer for me this year. Ive been very impressed.
