How does one monitor and duplicate the same hold from session to session ?

There is no tool available to do that, so you have no means to duplicate it.
All you can do is be consistent as you can, with variables reduced as far as you can.

Just have to remember, there are body dies, std neck dies, reamed/honed neck dies, neck/bushing dies, neck/bump bushing dies and std FLS , reamed/honed FLS, and FLS bushing dies out there, they all have their uses, advantages or disadvantages, body style allows for the use of stuff like the collet die or a reamed neck die. No right or wrong one to be using really, just what turns your crank at the moment, and does what you want done at the time.
