A member (since 2018) recently posted a Tikka rifle for sale.
Contrary to Forum Rules, he said payment was to be made via PayPal, using a "discrete" (his word) Friends and Family (F&F) payment without fees.
I took the time to advise the fellow of PayPal Rules:
1. PayPal may NEVER EVER be used for sale of ANY firearms or actions (or ammo).
2. PayPal F&F may NEVER EVER be used for ANY sale of ANY goods or services. No exceptions.
He responded that he was just reposting an ad from another Forum.
Then in an email after I took the time to explain PayPal policies he said he was "well versed in PayPal policies" and was ignoring PayPal rules "understand[ing] the risk involved".
So this person knew the PayPal rules, and deliberately violated them.
Learning that, I immediately banned his account permanently, and I have blocked the IP addresses he uses.
He then attacked me for requiring compliance with PayPal rules.

People -- here is why you should follow PayPal rules.
If you sell a firearm via PayPal payment your PayPal account may be locked and the funds from the transaction confiscated. Got that? You can lose ALL the money.
If you use F&F for ANY sale of any goods or services, you risk having your PayPal account closed and the money confiscated. F&F is never ever to be used for ANY SALE of ANY item. No exceptions.
Many other electronic payment systems do NOT allow firearm sales. You need to check.
PayPal/Zelle/Venmo/ApplePay/GooglePay all prohibit firearms sales.
One alternative that some people use is GunTab.com. This takes credit card payment and acts as an escrow until the firearm is received by the purchasers FFL.
