How not to set up your posting . . . .

4xforfun,
I would be proud to have you show up in a GULP,.... mini van
and sit beside me and shoot a match :D now if you showed up in spandex with a man purse attached to your side on a bicycle :o My liberalism sensors would be going off and I would probably have to draw the line. Now if you cut the back off the mini van with a cutting torch and had a old hound dog ridding in there with you I would REALLY be proud to shoot with you ;)
Wayne.
Now that's just funny right there Wayne! :D

C Honker,
I am glad you came back out, I wear bibs and own a pasture full of pickup trucks and have almost enough dogs to fill one of them (8) I have wore the bibs all my life and would think it almost unmanly to drive a car, short boxes, low riders, and cars are for city folk and women but I take absolutely no offense, as a matter of a fact I am proud of being country folk ;) I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the greatest forum on the web, Welcome to 6br Canada Honker I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Wayne.
I have tried to post this for five minutes but people are posting in droves, you are a very popular man. :D
Wayne.

You mean that you think less of me because I show up at matches in my 1994 crown vic matchmobile or (gulp) a minivan!!!!

I am deeply hurt!!!!! :(

OK...I'M ALL BETTER NOW....LETS GO SHOOTIN!! ;D

I had laugh a Wayne's post... I own a lowered truck with 1.5" of ground clearance, and I also have a 1990 VW Golf that's lowered with a bunch of other modifications, including nitrous :) The VW also has a 21" subwoofer that can shake windows in the houses I drive past. (I don't do that, out of respect for other people). Toying with cars is a hobby of mine, and I happen to like lowered trucks, European and German cars, and crazy sound systems. It's all personal preference!

Classifying people who like small cars and lowered trucks into a group of 'city folk' is highly inaccurate, but I didn't take offense to it because I know I'm not the type of person that he was talking about. I've met the people that he's trying to describe, and I'm proud that I'm NOT one of them!

You don't have to wear bibs and drive a truck to be a country boy... but if you think that it's required, then I'll list my third vehicle.. an 05' f150 with beefy tires and small lift. I use it as a truck, not a highway driver the "looks cool." (It also has a sound system that can shake the dashboard of the car next to me at a light :)

I'll never wear bibs, but I have nothing against those that do...

Sometimes my bibs keep my plumbers crack from offending stuffy people! ;D This is a great forum, I dont know how it evolved but the moderator can be proud of it! Great folks from all walks of life, and just an endless stream of great info. Its like a brotherhood if you will. And we all need to realize all the different personalities, be it at work, or at play, there will always be some difference of opinion. Some folks take even their hobbies seriously while others like myself do not. But diversity is what will, in the end, give us the most knowledge. Lets remember it is a hobby to most of us!

i had some time to think on the way back from town......
i checked the date and it wasn't april first......
i bit so hard on the paint ball thing that i got to thinking that maybe this was a set up to let all the steam off from cabin fever.....it has definately been a loooong winterllll
could anyone be that judgemental.......
Forum Boss.... tell us the truth......

Honker, don't judge a book by its cover, but by whats inside ;) I have friends from all walks of life and they are great people. It should never matter what they have or if they do not even have 2 nickles to rub together, its whats inside :D

that reminds me of my old 300 savage lever action.... rides in the old truck... looks like someone dropped it off the fender of horse trailer on a gravel road doing about 60..
ok it wasn't me but i was drivein the truck..... it looks like donkey poop, but it has put a boat load of muley's and elk on the ground and a few mountain coyotes.....my uncle owned it and when he died his wife gave it to me.....and yeah it still shoots the lights out.....

I'm new here also and the posts I have read are very good.

I spend most of my time on the Sniper Central forum and the tenor of this forum is very similar to SC, well moderated and a fraternity of knowledgeable and real people .... I'm impressed!

If anyone wants to see how character with intelligence and humor can add to a forum, check out posts by "Fluffy the cat" on SC. Fluffy is the alter ego of long time member "Madgunsmith" .... very funny stuff but very good info too.

Overalls ! Don't ya just love them. Growing up some years ago
Dad asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I told him something to wear and something to play with. Christmas morning I opened a package with a brand new pair of overalls which had the pockets cut out of them.
