How not to set up your posting . . . .

You all got it wrong or You've all got it wrong or is it "you'all is wrong? It's, "You've got to accept people for WHO they is". Sounding too much like trying to be "Politically Correct". It's the real world CH. Get over it! ::)

+1 for the BEST long range ACCURATE shooting and (ALMOST)hunting forum on the net.
sorry if we tell you you are wrong! :)

and KMA!

I bet Canada Honker's next thread is going to be "How NOT to try to educate people on this forum!" ;D

I actually have a $1200 f-class Savage in 6.5*284 with a $3100 S&B 5.5X25X56 PMII :o
Does that make me a idiot,...?Wayne.

Wayne, I've been meaning to talk to you about that! ;D

Canada Honker,
As you can see, we will take serious threads seriously, but we will have fun when we can, I advise you do the same! Take a chill pill and enjoy the ride, it will be a good one! ;)

Regarding bad grammer and spelling, I am an attorney, and the other day my client send me an email that I had to literally rewrite before I could begin to understand what he was communicating, and then I had to call him to confirm that I understood what he wanted. His commercial deal is worth millions and you would think it would be a high priority to clearly communicate. My point is if a business man involved in a multi-million dollar venture, will send incomprehensible messages with spelling and grammer mistakes, it is understandable that we will see the same on a site involving a hobby.

Good thing no one was in ear shot when I drove up to check my targets from my last thread...... ;D

With our "yutes" embracing the texting craze we are heading in a world where spelling and grammar will be a lost to them. At hunting camp this year, one lad had his thumb flying over his cellphone, or i-pad, the whole time he was in the cabin......want to bet he was prolly ( this is the "new" short-hand for "probably" ....and I feel silly for using it;D) doing the same while on stand. Beam me up Scotty!
Note to OP.... since you asked .....another etiquette taboo is "off topic" posts ....the practice of which simply cannot be tolerated- but I digress. :-[

Oh, yeah......did you mean to say "curse" words instead of "coarse" words? When you qualify it with "four letter" ....curse word comes to my mind....and you are so correct in saying they have no place on this site.

DaveBerg: I agree with much of what you say, he did have some vaild points, and I think they at least serve as a reminder to all of us about our site. But, he also reminded me of a new kid in the neighborhood who goes to the park where the other neighborhood kids have been playing baseball for generations, gets up on a soap box & begins reading off a list of instructions, telling the others how they should be playing the game. ;)

+1 and I do welcome the guy, BUT Kinda like me walking into my Gunsmith's shop and telling him how he should be doing his job! Or going to the firing line and telling someone like Charles Ballord, or Danny Briggs that they aren't shooting the right way! Hmmm! I'd hate to know what I would get told!

I also agree with DaveBerg. The OP has a valid point... I think he just approached it in the wrong manner. It came across as a direction, rather than a suggestion that welcomed a positive discussion. Of course negative responses are going to to fill the thread!

It does bother me when someone lists something in the classifieds with a generic title, like "for sale." It's not difficult to list what you're selling in the title of the post.

I'd like to see Canada Honker revisit this thread, and discuss his post. Some people don't realize how their writing is interpreted. Maybe he didn't mean for it to come out the way that it did?

You have to admit, he really stirred the pot!

I can't see Honker coming back. Can you after all this? This thread has turned into kicking a dead cow. This is the best site I belong to but I don't go a long with all the bashing of Honker. He was wrong setting rules for the forum but three pages of comments giving him hell!!! Enough is enough don't you think? You can start on me for this post if you want. I have thick skin.

I am a "yute" and I do not embrace the texting craze.

Thanks for targeting all kids my age in one sentence. ::)

I feel sorry for Canada Honker. I hope he's going to come back under his original name. But I doubt it.

PS: I'm just really bad at spelling and grammar. But! Microsoft Word does a great job at catching my mistakes.

Martins right, sorry Honker I was the first one to comment, I should have ask you what you meant instead of jumping to conclusions, You have all the right to your opinions same as I do, I am very sorry for my negative comments towards you, none of them had any productive input at all. I have since removed all my posts concerning this thread, I hope you are somehow able to brush it off and and continue on there are a lot of wonderful people on this forum that have valuable input to the gun community.
