How Many Kinetic Bullet Pullers Have You Broken?

Use both. Impact for pistol bullets with little to no grabbing surface & collet for everything else.
Broke the first Frankford impact after owning it for 20+ years & about 6 or so uses (shot mostly rifle in those days). Replaced it with an RCBS that I've used several dozen times with no issues.

Why do You get to make only 0.3 mistakes per year?
I usually make more than that in an hour.

Every time I smack that thing against the concrete floor, I’m thinking “OK this will be the time it shatters”. This ritual has continued with the same kinetic puller for 25 years.

Still have the one I bought in the 80s. Pulled a lot of bullets with it. Not so much in the last 5 yrs or so since I got a collet...

So the answer = 0

My brother developed a load in the winter for our summer PD shoot. We ended up pulling almost 1200 rounds, and destroying 3 pullers. Those light weight bullets just don't want to come out!

I never realized some many people have pulled so many bullets.
I know. At first I couldn’t understand why I would want one of those. Now I’m hoping the kinetic one I bought lasts until I learn to stop loading rounds I’m not gonna shoot, which could be forever.

I have had the same bullet puller for 30 years. I want to say that I have pulled at least 500 rounds with it. Finally went flying apart today. RIP. How sturdy have yours been?
My first one that I bought in 1970 last until 2000 when I replaced it with a Lyman and that only lasted ten years. I replaced it with a used Quinetics that I bought used from a friend and it's still going strong. I assume he had bought it in the 80's. I believe they made them for RCBS.

I use the grip-n-pull. Works well enough for me and is much faster than a collet setup. Not as easy on projectiles as a collet setup, but can still yield a salvage of used with care.
