How Many Kinetic Bullet Pullers Have You Broken?

I have had the same bullet puller for 30 years. I want to say that I have pulled at least 500 rounds with it. Finally went flying apart today. RIP. How sturdy have yours been?

Mine is probably 30 years old and still works. I've pulled bullets from .17 Remington to 45/70 and have no idea of the count. I will say that having spent a considerable amount of time pulling 100 25-grain bullets from .17 Remington brass (at such a low bullet weight it is amazing just how many whacks it takes for each one) my hands ached for days!

Broken 2 so far, but rarely use anymore. I switched to a collet puller.

I somewhat attribute my failures that my swing was somewhat of an arc vs. straight down. And I also pound them on the concrete basement floor. But they pulled a lot of bullets, so I'm not complaining.

I have yet to break the original. I have had to replace the rubber ring a time or two.
I bought another a while back and it's been solid. It replaced the Frankfort one that shattered in my hands after a live round went off in it.
Now I've decided the collet puller is a better way to fly.

None.

Ya'll break so many, and review them so poorly, that I figured I'd just take a hard pass.

I quit dealing with those stupid o-rings and just use the shell holder from my press

None , but I hit them on hard surface's and don't swing them hard , don't care if it takes a few more whacks.... I went to a collet puller ( hornady ) for rifle and like it better... I only use the hammer for pistol rounds if needed....

I broke one... I end up bringing home random live rounds left at my range. I disassemble the cartridges and either dump, flush or recycle all of the components (not reload). I broke one while disassembling a few dozen 5.56 that had the sealed/lacquered bullets and primers. PITA.

o-rings or shell holders; makes no difference when a live rounds goes off in the puller.
Handle was in my hand, pieces of puller all around and the fluorescent bulb in tiny shards that took a month to clean up.
Glad I was wearing safety glasses.

I've had mine several years but I really haven't pulled that many. I am getting ready to pull about 400 rounds of 45/70 405 grainers that were given to my brother from a friend of his. This were reloaded several years before they were gifted to him and sadly there is no information as to how what type of powder and how much was used. So we will see how well my kinetic puller fairs.
