How did you spend your day? Day 2?

it's still deer season down here, and i was up at 0400 but stayed in since i just processed a buck last week. assembled two rifles, loaded 30 rounds for each, and took my breaks in the drum room practicing some old james brown grooves.

in another post someone mentioned buffalo springfield 'for what it's worth'. i like that groove, but couldn't get my last band to add it to the setlist. they said, quote, "protest songs are no longer relevant - no one would understand"

ironic, isn't it?

Used my new snowblower to clear the driveway twice yesterday, beats the crap out of shoveling that's for sure. I tried my hand at annealing again, I tried it before a while back, but I think left the flame on them too long so this time I only lightly did 3 cases and then loaded them back up. Looking forward to shooting them.
Off again today, being non-essential is a good thing at times.

'07 2wd,F150 V6 shop truck has been getting a bunch of new parts. Putting in a twin electric fan, tossing the clutch fan at the moment. Deep cleaning along the way.

As much as it pains me,going to have to start mounting/balancing auto tires. Have done it on sportbikes for 40 years. Even have a 3 axis wheel straightening machine. Never figured we'd have to do cars? But the cost here locally..... sheesh. Used to be,buy "their" tires,at a little premium and mount/balance was a no brainer. Now,it's a huge premium on the rubber and then, bend over cause the rest if the program just downright hurts.

About 80%? done with new M/C build. So,I work on the shoptruck for awhile then back to the bike.

Getting a steady stream of machine shop tooling in from evilbay and elsewhere. This is,or was.... my shooting $$. Round about, still investing heavily into shooting, just hitting it on the production,or creation side instead of it coming out the end of a barrel. Which,is why I'm "building" a new shoptruck instead of dropping $30k. Getting a bunch of really nice parts on it. Body is nicer than it deserves to be..... it has been garage kept all these years, and never see's bad weather roads. Original muffler with 160k on the odometer. Putting long tube header on,and we'll fab up the SS exhaust,to include an "X" center section.

The electric fans are good for a few HP,and a mile or two extra fuel mileage. Header should be about the same. We're closing in on the equipment to do 3 angle valve jobs. For the race bikes mostly but,hey the "new" shoptruck could use a freshening up too.

Did a little dirt (mud) work, had water backed up in the wheat so cleaned out the drainage with loader tractor. Changed the fuel filter on Chevy Duramax pickup. Fed and petted the animals. Did a load of laundry. Got to watch some of my other hobby, the Ultra 4 racing King of the Hammers is currently going on, full week of some of the most rugged off road racing there is.

I spent most of the day reading up on the Reddit vs Hedge Fun manager saga and decided to move some money around. I don't know what's going to happen with it per say, but it's been fun to read about at least and maybe I'll make a few bucks. Admittedly I bought in late, but when I did the stock immediately dropped 25%. That's volatility for you.
Learning anything?

I am having another monday on a tuesday--If I hear "I've got you babe" on the radio, i think i will just go to the house and have a stiff drink...

Made coffee had 1st cup, fed the dogs, ordered a scope while my wife made breakfast, hung two pictures for my MIL, came home and now goofing off. Drank more coffee in between.

Pretty much same as yesterday. Servicing Fire Extinguishers and doing inspections. Might weigh some fresh Lapua brass this evening. Did talk to TomE on the phone about some Vapor Trail 103’s.

Are you serious?

"The electric fans are good for a few HP,and a mile or two extra fuel mileage"

Where do get them?

Sorry, got here late. Was busy yesterday getting my P/U to the shop to get the brakes done before they start singing to me. Then turned 100 6BR necks
Today I put in the false shoulders and tested a few rounds to see how they formed up. Now I am back to the grindstone to load the rest for fireforming tomorrow.
