Defiance Machine receivers have EDM raceways.![]()
YesI believe Borden uses EDM as well
I just got a mod VR to my Smith last week, got tired of not having a small caliber hunting rig, fits perfectly in an H&S stock that I had a Remington in, even hooked up perfectly with the H&S bottom metal. Also uses a Remington style Jewel trigger minus the bolt release, JohnSo which action is a drop in Remington footprint? I’m assuming they’re gonna accept most triggers? I’d be interested in dropping one in a chassis made for a Remington footprint. What threads, will they accept any prefits? That video reminds me of hanging out in the LRI shop. Awesome.
Northland Shooters Supply has a line of BAT actions that have the Rem thread and bolt nose diameter and work with their Remage prefit barrels. These are also Rem 700 footprint. So which action is a drop in Remington footprint? I’m assuming they’re gonna accept most triggers? Thanks! That’s really cool. I will look into this.Northland Shooters Supply has a line of BAT actions that have the Rem thread and bolt nose diameter and work with their Remage prefit barrels. These are also Rem 700 footprint.
I did not know thatStiller receivers are wire EDM in the raceways. I've had a couple Bats and they are top notch.
I did not know that
thats weird--I assume you did not spec. em that way??My 2 Bat DS models were purchased at the same time, but different. One had the ejector port right behind the front ring and the other about 5/8" further back.
No sir, I thought they would be the same. Not a problem though.thats weird--I assume you did not spec. em that way??
yeah. bats are about the slickest action I have ever got a hold of
You might change this to say melting aluminum and making ingots, not Kelbly's receivers.I found a video of Kelbly making the Panda I thought was sort of neat:
