Hot Factory Load

Hello all. Went to the range today to test some hunting loads I'm working on. I loaded up some 180g Nosler BT's for my 30-06, and some 208g A-Max using starting reload data for both. I fired a few fouling shots using some PPU 165g factory loads and noticed later that two of them had cratered primers. When they went off I noticed considerable recoil, but ignored it at the time since I was used to the light recoil of my 6.5 Grendel, and it's been a while since I touched off anything through the 06. My starting loads were candy compared to those factory loads. Anyone had this experience before?

What kind of rifle? I have a 700 in 204 that craters primers with all loads. I believe it is an over boared firing pin hole. Was there ejector marks, stiff bolt lift or any other pressure signs?

It's an inexpensive Mossberg ATR 100. I've fired about 100 rounds through it, mostly PPU 150g. This was the first PPU 165g I've tried in it. I'm new to reloading, but not new to shooting by no means. This is the first time I've seen any pressure signs from anything fired through it. My 208g A-Max reloads were light by comparison to those two the cratered.

Just wanted to mention that even though the Mossberg is inexpensive, it is by no means what most would call "cheap". Last year I had it sighted in at .5 MOA at 100 yards, repeatable.
