Hornady or Sierra

I agree that Berger has gone over the top expensive. When my supply is gone, I will be switching to Sierra. Nosler is done in my book. I had some of their bullets come apart during a match, it cost me the win as I was ahead on points and they acted like they could care less. I told Nosler if I ever had an issue with their bullets again, it would be the last Nosler I would ever buy. Well, that time has come.

My hats off to Berger. They make an outstanding bullet and have a huge following. I just don't know how anyone can afford to shoot them! I had to stop a long time ago when they were the only one raising prices and other manufacturers were not. I found great results with both Hornady and Sierra bullets in both my BR and XC. I'm really curious now to see how the new Hornady Aeromatch bullets compare to the standby legacy profiles such as SMK's and VLD's.

Thanks for replies..
I'm not 100 percent sure but I think 100 count box of 6.5cal 140gr hybrids are over £100..
Over /£1.00 per shot..
Just been tinkering in the gunroom and checked the throat weather on my barrel..
This benchmark barrel has grown 52 thousandths in the last 1350 shots..
The RS62 must be hard on the barrels.
As its grown that much it might suit the 139gr scenars now as they have a long bearing surface..

I've been a die hard berger boy all of my reloading life. They are too damn expensive though. BUT so is powder too.
This country needs deflation, not inflation. Its not just reloading and rifle stuff...

I've never has nosler bullets shoot to my standards. My 308 likes 175 smk. They dont work well hunting though, not a hunting bullet.

Hornadys are my 2nd in line. I have several rifles worked up with them. Im still sitting on a pile of 123Amax that I stashed a long time ago before they stopped making em. And piles of 20 cal hornadys.

Hornady 130 ELDM. Was surprised how accurate they are! I waited a long time to try them.
They ARE, my Main "All Around" Varmint and Steel Plinking Load to 850 yards and YUP,. Very Accurate from, my 8 twist 6.5 Creed, Tikka, "Clover Leaf's" 3 Touching, most Times and 5 into,.. a 1/2 MOA.
I use the 130 gr. M's, in my 24" Braked, Tikka to, lighten Up, the Recoil @ 2,850 fps !
The 142 SMK's and 140 or, 147 gr., M's are probably, a "Bit" Better IF, going Out to,.. Further Distances
