hornady match 105

I'm thinking of trying some of the new Hornady 105 match bullet heads in 6mm BR has anybody tried them and are they any good before i spend my hard earned cash

I tried a hundred of them and they shoot very well in my rifle and I have another buddy who is having real good luck with them to.

I bought some blemished bullets from Midway which are the Hdy 105's. They shoot very well from my 1 in 8 bbl.

If you are talking about the 105 bthp match bullets. They are performing great in my 6 super. I would not hesitate to say they are just as good as the Sierra 107's. I just reamed my 6br to a Brx and after workings with the load got it to shoot rather will. I haven't tried the hornadys in it but don't see any reason why they wouldn't perform well.

Just one thing to be aware of on the Hornady 105 bthp is the bearing surface is really long, about .100 longer than a Berger 105 hunting vld, .045 longer than a Berger 108 bthp and .020 longer than a Hornady 105 amax.

I shot a few in my BRX last night and they shot pretty good, but take up a lot of case space. With a .104 fb the bottom bearing surface is all the way down to the shoulder/body junction.

Point of impact at 400 yards was about the same as the 105 Hunting vlds with the same powder charge for both but did not run them through a chrony.

Just some info if anyone cares.

dully1963, how are these 105's working out for you? I ordered 200 to try in 1 of my 6CM's. My twist is 7.5, may be a little fast.

they worked out Ok but not much better than the Amax but that could be the driver but all in all they are a good bullet and my pacnor barrel seems to like them hope this helps

Are you seating jammed, or +/ - ??? What seems to work best? I bought 500 and had my chamber redone with the PTG blue box reamer. Have not shot any yet.

shot a 200-17x yesterday at 600 with them in my 6BRX, the shoot much better in my rifle jumped
