Hornady A-Max Bullets

Has Hornady discontinued the A-Max Bullets? If they are still available what flavors and where? I have a computer illiterate friend looking for some.

Which caliber? I know they discontinued the 6mm 105’s. Guess the A-tips were the replacement? I still have some that I shoot and they shoot real good. Wish I could order more but will have to change eventually.

I picked up several boxes of the .224 52's because of the hype about them for coyote. Haven't tried them yet, as I have my go to bullets in good supply.

I have 2000 or so 6mm 105 Amax bullets left
If you're not shooting a 30 cal or 50 cal it's time to move to the eldm.
I wish.
I built a 6mm CM gas rifle that loves 105 amax. The first bullet I tried was the 108 eld... they just would not feed because of the nose profile.
I found a guy that sold me a few hundred 105gr, after they are gone I'll have to change bullet brands.

What are you shooting them in?

You could always go to the 105 BTHP after you are out of 105 AMAX.

It's been a good 5 years since they discontinued most of the AMAX bullets; when I heard the news I scoured the net and secured the last 1000 I could find for my 243AI. I've probably got about 600 left.

I purchased 50 boxes of the 75 amax in .224 back when I heard they were being discontinued, probably one of my better decisions, my built up 700 AI loves them.
I did the same thing with 52 Amax - bought a bunch - then changed bullets. I still have them on my shelf if anyone needs them....

I was at Sportsmans a few months ago and saw these on the shelf, my 2 year old Hornady manual lists them as discontinued, there was still some on the shelf last time I looked too.
30 cal 168 A-max
They are in the newer packaging too, I have several thousand 208 a-max and they are in different packaging.
