High Prices Thread -- Vent Your Frustration

"Vent your frustration" I had a whole thread asking "why" all you had to do was say these 3 words and i would have understood.

I have been trying to work out what is going on, not just in our world but overall. How can so many people get forced out of work, businesses closed, money printed, ext. And yet so many markets are booming. Look at the housing market. Prices are high and overall many people have less money. I think inflation is already here and we dont know it yet.
I have been shaking my head wondering how this will all end since it started. And many people are ecstatic over more stimulus beer money. Do people really not realize its our money they are offering to give us? I am not an economist but the disconnect between the markets and reality are pretty concerning

Im not a business man or economist but I do feel like I have some common sense, I find it interesting what is happening. It feels like we are making history. Seems like everything has gotten so expensive. I wish I was smart enough to understand what is happening.

You and me both...

From my point of view they are bankrupting this country so they can do the "total reset".
1.9 trillion passed by the house and 9% is actual COVID relief. - The rest is pet-pork-barrel stuff.
The higher prices we are paying for everything right now is a result of a "weaken dollar".

Well, not everybody is on the “stick it to ‘em” bandwagon.

I had to make trip to Corpus Christi yesterday to look at an emergency drydocking of one of our customers boats. On the way back, I stopped at Carrols Guns on hyway 59 just outside of El Campo. He had some ammo he had just got in, 2 boxes per customer.

I bought these.

Plan A: I have enough components to shoot for about a year.

Plan B: When I run out of ammo next year and the prices are as they are now:

You’re gonna end up blowing enough money on golf to have just bought overpriced components.
