Still got it!!
Hi Wayne....I keep it for special occasions....Weddings/BarMitsfas/Super Shoot/etc....It is in the corner with a 36 Leupold and sighted in,wink,,,,,It has aprox. 1200 rds on it and the throat has moved out aprox. .110" and it is gettin tuff to jam the lil 68's and still have more than .050 of shank gettin gripped by the case neck,I hav shot stuff with less grip on the bullets but dont reccomend it,,,I like .060" min. so I can carry em in my poket and not end up with gun powder all over me, or in the action!!!...I'v got so much arthrits that I fumble and fiddle around kikin the cases in and out of the gun like Im makin homemade Ice Cream,,ahahah(most good cut bbls today wear aprox.0015 per hundred rds...this chep-0 is going .009-.010" per/100)...that lil chrome-moly bbl is a good un....it still looks terrible to the eye,but you know how it shoots...I just read your inquiry about the Swift with 60-70gr bullets....I have not had one but would try the same stuff that works good in a 22-250 AI....such as 4350 and "550" and would also try some of this new Rx-17.....I am having great results with it in several different cals.....one lil' tip from an ole' country boy was to use mag. primers with the slow powders in the small cal AI's....he says even though the cal is just 22or 6mm.(and charge wt. of 30-40 gr)....the case is over-bore capacity and the burn time is slow due to the expansion ratio and slo sine wave which makes the long brisciance primers beneficial....wink....Roger
