Help with Barnard Action

First reason is availability here in Canada, second delivery and it is probably better than I am. Model S small action like a Rem. 700

Recoil Lugs. They offer the stnd remingtion type and the RCI.

I could use a little help as I realy dont know which to choose or
which is best. I will be chambering it to 6BR or 6MM Rem.

Building my first rifle in a Masterclass stock for
target varmint.

If you want a repeater, then you pretty much have to go with the one that accepts Rem pattern triggers.

For the same money, if you can live with a flat bottom, you will get a solid action WITH a good trigger.

As for the recoil lug, WTC and Jim Murphy both make excellent bedding block with a bottom verticle recoil lug. If you're having Alex Sitman do the stock work, see what he wants to do for recoil/bedding blocks. If not, I might just go with the Barnard block, and be done with it.

All the Barnards I've seen have been shooters. I don't think you can go wrong with one. Not the prettiest action, but there's a lot of beauty in a rifle that shoots bugholes.
