I am a new guy here and just wanted to say hello and also thanks. I have been lurking around this site for about 9 months. The thanks are for the wonderful articles and tips on forums, etc. I have found it very helpful, trustworthy and have learned a lot.
I am a happily married middle aged guy with two wonderful kids. I am a varmint hunter,Woodchucks) enjoy varmint rifles, and shoot at my Rod & Gun clubs range,100,200 & 300) fairly often 500-1000 round per year with factory varmint rifles. I also help take care of the range for the club. Unfortunately, there are not any shoots in my town. So it’s just me against myself. There is a 100 - 1000 yard range with shoots about 1 1/2 hours south of my location and hope to make down some day to watch. Maybe shoot a factory class, drink some coffee and BS with those of similar interest.
I would probably be the first varmint hunter to purchase a 6 mm BR should the manufactures decide to produce ammo and rifles in that caliber some day and I hope they will.
Anyways, I just wanted to say hello. I will be asking some questions likely in the small bore and varmint forums. I am no guru just a country guy that enjoys shooting and learning. I made a small donation as the articles and help have been worth it……….not to mention the free targets. I have looked at the sponsors and will support them………….actually they will be a support to me also. In fact I have never seen that magazine. It looks like it is right up my alley so I will likely subscribe. It was nice they added the varmint and small bore forums here also.
Keep up the good work………………..thanks to all on the forums along with the fine articles I have read here.
