Hi from NJ, I'm signing up after being pointed in this direction on my local gun forum. I am building my 6.5 Grendel Ar 15 to be my 1000 yard gun.

I got quite confused when looking for a scope, so I plan on kicking off my shoes and browsing a bit to try to better understand what it is that I need(want). I also plan on learning a lot about the actual skills I need to acquire to get behind a rifle and shoot well at 1K.

Thanks. No, AFAIK the closest range with 1000 is quite far from me. So I don't see competition in my future.
