The 108 gr. Berg., Elite Hunters and the Hornady 103 grain, ELD-X's ( "Seconds", I got, Cheap ) work "Well", also,..108g ELDMs work great
Hornady says their 103 is running 2800, I haven't checked it out of my rifle....Best choice in my opinion for the 6 ARC is an 70-80 grain bullets. I'm not sure why you want to handicap the little 6ARC with a 100+ grain bullet. I shoot 80 grain bullets for a coyote load in mine and it drops coyotes DRT. I get 2900 fps with the 80 grain.
Sacrifice for what? It's a 7" twist, it may or may not shoot the lighter bullets but I do plan to try some eventually.6 ARC isn’t a hotrod. How much velocity are you willing to sacrifice?
NevermindSacrifice for what?
Don't believe everything! 24-26 inch barrel maybe!Hornady says their 103 is running 2800, I haven't checked it out of my rifle....
I have shot a few with this bullet in a 6 creed. Here in Arizona with our small coyotes it was way wrong. Several ended up with orange size and slightly bigger exit holes and still breathing. After i saw this sveral times i parked the rifle for coyotes. Now for Javelina its worked great. Even at 200 yards passed right through with minimal damage and knocks them off their feet.108g ELDMs work great
ExterminatingFirst off are you hide hunting or just exterminating? The 87gr V-Max shoot great and don some damage inside. The Berger has a couple 95gr tuning 6mm bullets that would do well. Sierra has a 100gr Game King that puts them down, they also have an 85 gr GK hollow point that woks well. They also have a 100gr and 90gr Tipped Game King that shoot great and perfume great too. A little more info on your end goal with the hides will help narrow down the choices.
