Nosler .22 cal 64g ppt bonded

Ron, all of the Sierra 55g will serve you well on coyotes with the exception of the Blitz king. The 64 was made for shooting through cars, Texans adopted it to HOGS, then there you go.

Coyotes are not that tough, but you do need a bullet that will put them down hard, which takes bullet expansion and speed.

They tend to be quite accurate and will definitely kill pigs so yotes shouldn't be an issue..

To make a long story kind of short my rifle a 9 twist Savage M25 isn't grouping so well with 50g to 55g bullets so I thought maybe a heavier weight bullet would help. I already have the Noslers and some 65g gamekings. I have loaded up some of each and I'm waiting for a good range day to try them. Looking at the Noslers the thought struck me that I might be trying to kill a gnat with a sledge hammer and that prompted my inquiry. Mostly I am trying to find a load that will do a little better than the 1 1/2" + size groups I have been getting with lighter bullets.I am always open to suggestions and comments. Thanks, Ron...

First....I'm all for whatever shoots best USE IT. But if you're just trying it to try it without using other (suitable) weight/type bullets (60-75 grs.),I think you 're spending a lot more than needed for a Varmint bullet. Winchesters 64 gr. PP, The V-maxs, Blitzkings..etc. much easier on the pocket book (IF they shoot better...I think they would).

Everyone, Thanks and your points are well taken, I had purchased the Noslers in the midst of the component shortage. I thought why not give them a try. Does seem like a waste though. I think I will save the rest for something bigger and try some of CJ6's suggestions. I appreciate the input it's what I needed to hear.
