Heavy 6mm Coyote Bullet?

That 108 eldm performance looks good to me. Turn that POS inside out. I use em on PDs myself. For coyote though that 80 gr eldvt looks good on paper. Flat for the more common closer fast shots, and some BC for the occasional long poke when one hangs up. Gonna try some in my 6 creed for the PDs.

I'm using a 7" twist 6mm ARC in an AR for coyotes and I want to try a different bullet, any suggestions on bullets over 100 gr.? Thanks
My "Dog Gun" is a Tikka T3 chambered for 6BR and using 103's {Think Barts} and I have had very good results right out to 700+. Just something about the 103 grain bullets in that 1:8 twist benchmark that works great, the 107 Sierras are a good option and with a 1:7 twist it will spin up just about any sort of 100+grain bullet.
Just have to try a few different weights, loads/powder but for my own part if it was my rifle I would go with the 103's and head shots if you want the pelt...

I am taking this is that you want a long bullet & weight you just expect to be part of that package. While generally true there are exceptions to the longer bullets that are lighter. With your task at hand & the 7 twist barrel, you may wish to give the 80 grain ELD - VT as your coyote bullet (8 twist minimum). The 108 gr ELDM might be my 2nd choice. While I would not rule out the Berger 108 grain Elite Hunter.

I have just started working up loads with the 80 gr ELD - VT factory 2nds. My results have been slow in coming I suppose. Work, wind & cold have slowed me down I suppose.

That's exactly the info I'm looking for, thanks! My distributor doesn't have the 80 ELD VT in stock, any suggestions on where to find them?

The ELD-VT is great. I’m using them in a 6 dasher for prairie dogs. I’m not pushing very hard and I’m at 3200fps.
