Heavy 6mm Coyote Bullet?

I'm using a 7" twist 6mm ARC in an AR for coyotes and I want to try a different bullet, any suggestions on bullets over 100 gr.? Thanks

108g ELDMs work great
The 108 gr. Berg., Elite Hunters and the Hornady 103 grain, ELD-X's ( "Seconds", I got, Cheap ) work "Well", also,..
in my 6 XC ! Agree with Above, Hornady's, "M's" would be, a Serious 6MM Bullet IF not,.. Saving Hides !
I never take my Skinning Knife on, a Yote Hunt !

Best choice in my opinion for the 6 ARC is an 70-80 grain bullets. I'm not sure why you want to handicap the little 6ARC with a 100+ grain bullet. I shoot 80 grain bullets for a coyote load in mine and it drops coyotes DRT. I get 2900 fps with the 80 grain.

Back when coyote pelts were precious, and I had a 243, (only real rifle I had), I blew a few up and decided to go to a full jacketed bullet. It was a Hornady 85 gr. Next couple coyotes blew up just like the others, with base-ball sized exit holes.

I bought a 222. jd

On the Cold / Windy,.. Rolling Hill Deserts of, N. Nevada / Southern Idaho, the "Hotter" faster, High BC, 6 M's ARE,.. real NICE to, have !
Mid Winter, I leave my .22-250 Rem, .. HOME !
Might want to "Try", the VERY Accurate, 6mm, 95 grain, Berger, Classic Hunters, in your,. 6 ARC
( Check for, the "correct Twist", needed, on Berger's Website )

Hornady says their 103 is running 2800, I haven't checked it out of my rifle....

First off are you hide hunting or just exterminating? The 87gr V-Max shoot great and don some damage inside. The Berger has a couple 95gr tuning 6mm bullets that would do well. Sierra has a 100gr Game King that puts them down, they also have an 85 gr GK hollow point that woks well. They also have a 100gr and 90gr Tipped Game King that shoot great and perfume great too. A little more info on your end goal with the hides will help narrow down the choices.

I have shot a few with this bullet in a 6 creed. Here in Arizona with our small coyotes it was way wrong. Several ended up with orange size and slightly bigger exit holes and still breathing. After i saw this sveral times i parked the rifle for coyotes. Now for Javelina its worked great. Even at 200 yards passed right through with minimal damage and knocks them off their feet.

Zoom into the chest. Its a big hole. For me id stay clear of 108eldm. This was common from a side shot.

I think the heaviest you could use would be the 115gr Sierra DTAC ( buy from David Tubb). You can get them nose ringed which will help them open up. Great for bucking wind. I use them in a 6xc but not sure if you could get decent velocity in your case.
I have had great luck with the cheapo Hornady match 105gr bthp. Shot a 5.25" 5x group at 1000 with them. They were half the price of the Berger 105. For hunting who cares about a 10th of moa?
