Okay, a friend of mine is wanting to build his ultimate rifle. He is wanting a light(er) weight relatively short (22" or shorter) barreled rifle. He is NOT a reloader. Not going to be EVER be a reloader. This rifle is for hunting and if he wants to air them out to 800 and up. He was thinking carbon fiber (Proof research) for the barrel. I tried to give him the pluses and minuses of a carbon fiber. Probably a Stiller action and a manners carbon stock of some sort. He wants it manageable. While we have discussed MANY calibers, I would like some input from you folks to see what you think on barrel length, contour and mostly caliber. I am thinking 6.5 creedmore or .243 Winchester or maybe .260 Winchester. Which do you folks think? I am wide open and I will pass everything said and pass it on to him. Thanks Peeps and I am going to sit back and listen. Yall guys bring it! Excited to see what you have to say and if it agrees with me
